Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch in accordance with government safety standards.
- Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are up to date.
- Adhere to strict Health & Safety (H&S) protocols and security procedures.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles with speed and efficiency.
- Report any damaged goods or equipment immediately to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving license (Class C+E desirable but not essential).
- CSCS Card (Green or Blue) is required for this government role.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and security clearance.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 25kg) repeatedly.
- Excellent time-keeping and reliability.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory systems.
