Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and public infrastructure.
- Operate heavy machinery and light equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect municipal facilities and grounds to ensure compliance with safety standards and aesthetic requirements.
- Respond to service requests and emergencies related to public works and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with city teams to implement long-term infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Experience with construction or general maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong commitment to public service and attention to detail.
