Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repairs on municipal vehicles, equipment, and public facilities.
- Collect and dispose of waste, debris, and recyclables in strict compliance with safety regulations.
- Clear snow and ice from streets, sidewalks, and parking lots during severe winter weather events.
- Inspect and maintain parks, playgrounds, and public landscaping areas.
- Respond to emergency repair requests and perform general labor tasks as assigned.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
