Responsibilities
- Assist customers with license applications, renewals, and replacements in a professional and efficient manner.
- Process vehicle registrations, title transfers, and renewal notices accurately and timely.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries and complaints with patience and empathy.
- Verify documents and ensure compliance with state motor vehicle laws and regulations.
- Operate office equipment, including computer terminals and point-of-sale systems.
- Update and maintain accurate customer records and databases.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, reception, or government services.
- Basic knowledge of DMV procedures, licensing laws, or vehicle registration processes is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
