Responsibilities
- Process vehicle registrations, title transfers, license renewals, and title applications with high accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, answering questions, and resolving complaints regarding DMV policies.
- Utilize provided state-of-the-art computer equipment and software to input data into the internal database securely.
- Assist customers with document preparation, ensuring all forms are completed correctly before processing.
- Handle cash, check, and credit transactions efficiently, balancing daily receipts and ensuring financial accountability.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient service flow during peak hours.
- Adhere to all state regulations, privacy laws, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or government operations is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Valid Kansas Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
