Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding driver’s licenses, vehicle titles, and registrations.
- Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently using the state’s DMV database system.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card payments with strict adherence to financial policies and auditing standards.
- Resolve customer complaints and complex issues professionally to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all customer interactions and transactions.
- Assist in training new staff members on standard operating procedures and software usage.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is highly preferred.
- Strong typing skills (minimum 40 WPM) and exceptional attention to detail are essential for data entry.
- Ability to stand for long periods and navigate a busy, multi-station office environment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
