Responsibilities
- Process high-volume 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via phone
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate radio systems and specialized emergency equipment
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years customer service or call center experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Proficiency with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems
- Certified in CPR/First Aid (or obtain within 90 days)
- Fluency in English (bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged)
