Location: Tampa, Florida
Responsibilities
- Monitor emergency communications channels and dispatch response units to incidents promptly.
- Coordinate logistics for emergency response teams, including personnel, equipment, and transportation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date incident reports and government documentation.
- Liaise effectively with local law enforcement, fire departments, and municipal authorities.
- Provide clear, calm, and concise instructions to the public during non-emergency inquiries and emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal government safety regulations and protocols.
- Conduct regular training drills to prepare the team for various emergency scenarios.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or Criminal Justice is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency services, public administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and government compliance procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and government reporting software.
