Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response operations during natural disasters and national crises
- Deploy within 48 hours of activation to disaster-stricken areas
- Interact with federal, state, and local agencies to synchronize relief efforts
- Manage resource allocation including personnel, equipment, and supplies
- Develop and execute evacuation plans and public safety protocols
- Prepare real-time situation reports for senior leadership
- Conduct post-incident reviews to improve response protocols
Qualifications
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- 3+ years in emergency management or disaster response
- Incident Command System (ICS) certification required
- Experience with FEMA/NIMS protocols
- Ability to work 80+ hour weeks during deployments
- Strong decision-making under extreme pressure
- Valid US driver's license and passport
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management or related field
