Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with calm professionalism
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and radio logs
- Provide life-saving instructions via telephone during emergencies
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major incidents
- Operate radio equipment and emergency alert systems
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency (typing test required)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (24/7 operation)
- Must be US citizen or authorized to work
