Responsibilities
- Perform General Office Duties: Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and manage correspondence to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Data Management: Accurately input and maintain records, files, and databases using government software systems.
- Customer Service: Assist the public with inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments or resolving basic issues efficiently.
- Support Staff: Assist senior staff with scheduling, preparing meeting materials, and running errands as needed.
- Document Preparation: Draft, proofread, and distribute memos, reports, and official correspondence.
- Compliance: Adhere to all county policies, procedures, and confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
