Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical records.
- Receive and direct incoming telephone calls and visitors with a professional demeanor.
- Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute internal memos, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist in the coordination of department meetings and logistical needs.
- Ensure compliance with all city policies, safety regulations, and confidentiality standards.
- Support senior staff with ad-hoc administrative projects as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous office experience or internships are a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Must be a resident of the State of Tennessee (preferred).
