Responsibilities
- Manage official municipal records and documentation following Florida Sunshine Law protocols
- Provide constituent support via phone, email, and in-person inquiries at public service counters
- Coordinate departmental scheduling, meeting logistics, and procurement processes
- Assist with grant application preparation and compliance reporting for federal/state programs
- Maintain digital filing systems using city-specific databases and Microsoft Office Suite
- Support public outreach initiatives including community event coordination
- Process administrative paperwork including permits, licenses, and departmental requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry systems
- Knowledge of Florida public records management principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain Notary Public certification within 6 months
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background check
