Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming government documents and records efficiently.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding permits, licenses, and general information.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintenance of digital and physical filing systems.
- Sort, stamp, and distribute incoming mail and inter-office correspondence.
- Operate office equipment including printers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Support senior staff with administrative tasks and special projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high accuracy standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive government information.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by department needs.
