Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal agency websites using Drupal or equivalent CMS platforms, ensuring uptime and security.
- Implement and monitor Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings and web traffic.
- Analyze web analytics and user behavior data to identify trends and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Create and edit web content, ensuring strict adherence to WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and federal compliance regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding graphic designers, policy analysts, and developersâto translate technical requirements into user-friendly digital solutions.
- Conduct user testing sessions and usability audits to optimize the digital user journey.
- Assist in the troubleshooting of technical issues related to web infrastructure and content delivery networks.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and web development concepts; familiarity with web accessibility standards.
- SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and content management systems.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow complex federal regulations and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a favorable adjudication for a federal security clearance.
