Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative support to federal and local departments, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Manage incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, responding to inquiries professionally.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain confidential records using government databases and filing systems.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations for public distribution.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and arranging conference rooms.
- Assist the team in implementing new government protocols and compliance procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Public Administration is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and record-keeping.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to federal and local government regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
