Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and supporting documentation with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage case files and maintain confidential records in accordance with federal regulations
- Respond to inquiries from veterans, families, and healthcare providers via phone, email, and in-person
- Assist with data entry and record-keeping using federal systems (e.g., VBA, VISTA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve benefit-related issues
- Participate in ongoing training on federal policies and procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and security clearance
- Customer service experience in a professional setting
