Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and answering multi-line phones in a professional environment.
- Prepare and organize official federal documents, correspondence, and meeting packets with strict attention to detail.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for federal supervisors and team members.
- Conduct research and compile statistical data to support agency reports and briefings.
- Interact with the public and federal visitors, providing accurate information and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with federal privacy regulations and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a standard background investigation and security clearance check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic typing skills (40+ WPM).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with federal officials and the public.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
