Responsibilities

  • Answer and screen incoming telephone calls and redirect them to the appropriate staff members or take detailed messages.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, logging, and distributing correspondence to federal employees.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems to ensure accurate and easy access to records.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, memos, and other documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring database integrity.
  • Greet visitors and visitors, verifying their business and directing them to the correct department.
  • Support senior staff with special projects and administrative clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Minimum of 1 year of general office or clerical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is highly preferred.
