Responsibilities
- Front Desk Reception: Greet and assist visitors, answer multi-line telephones, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Administrative Support: Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for both physical and electronic records.
- Communication: Draft and proofread simple correspondence, memos, and reports using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking office supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Meeting Support: Schedule meetings, set up conference rooms, and take minutes when required.
- Special Projects: Support senior staff with ad-hoc projects and special assignments as they arise.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; strong interest in public service.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
