Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean datasets from various federal sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create clear, professional reports and dashboards using Excel, Tableau, or other BI tools to present findings to stakeholders.
- Compliance Support: Assist in maintaining data integrity and ensuring all analysis adheres to federal regulations and agency standards.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor data trends to identify patterns that may impact agency operations or policy decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to support ongoing federal projects.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of data processes, methodologies, and findings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel is a plus).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision when handling sensitive federal data.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
