Responsibilities
- Analyze Complex Datasets: Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Compliance & Integrity: Ensure all data analysis processes adhere to strict federal regulations, NIST frameworks, and internal quality assurance standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with program managers and policy analysts to define data requirements and provide technical guidance on statistical methods.
- Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations that summarize key findings and recommendations for leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize data collection workflows and automation scripts to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; experience with ETL processes and big data technologies.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (Secret) or higher.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business value.
