Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of federal computer systems and networks.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to federal employees.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Document technical procedures and assist in the creation of IT documentation.
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness training and compliance exercises.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement federal IT security standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network concepts.
- Ability to obtain a favorable background investigation (Secret clearance may be required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn federal regulations and compliance protocols.
