- Prepare detailed reports regarding pension status, projections, and discrepancies for management review.
- Respond professionally and timely to inquiries from federal employees regarding retirement eligibility and benefit calculations.
- Collaborate with HR departments to streamline pension enrollment and data verification processes.
- Monitor legislative changes in federal retirement policies and update internal models accordingly.
- Maintain accurate data in secure internal databases and reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-specialists.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic understanding of government payroll systems and HR practices is highly preferred.
- Willingness to obtain necessary security clearances (Public Trust) upon hiring.
