Responsibilities
- Assist federal employees in calculating and projecting pension benefits based on FERS and CSRS guidelines.
- Review and analyze employment records to ensure accurate and timely retirement documentation.
- Communicate complex pension regulations and benefit calculations to clients in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner.
- Maintain and update accurate databases regarding federal retirement plans and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all pension calculations adhere to federal laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal team members regarding retirement inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
- Familiarity with federal government retirement systems (FERS/CSRS) is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
