Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and process incoming mail and federal correspondence.
- Assist in the organization and physical filing of historical and government records.
- Perform routine data entry tasks into secure federal databases under supervision.
- Greet visitors at the information desk and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Perform basic inventory checks of office supplies and records storage areas.
- Support senior staff with special projects and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Background Check: Must successfully complete a background investigation and fingerprinting.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy (typing and mouse skills) is required; training provided for specific software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work a standard 40-hour work week.
