Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing and review of federal employment applications and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct data entry and analysis to support federal reporting requirements and internal audits.
- Maintain and organize confidential federal records and digital databases in accordance with strict security protocols.
- Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and briefing materials for federal stakeholders and agency heads.
- Support the coordination of recruitment events and informational sessions for prospective federal employees.
- Monitor updates to federal regulations and internal policies to ensure team adherence to compliance standards.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks to facilitate the smooth operation of federal projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy in data management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse internal and external audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with government databases is preferred.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and obtain a security clearance.
- Willingness to relocate or work in the Chicago metropolitan area.
