Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, formatting, and distribution of official government documents and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records and databases in strict compliance with UK data protection regulations.
- Respond to public inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person with a focus on high-quality customer service.
- Support senior officials with scheduling, meeting preparation, and minute-taking.
- Conduct research on legislative changes and prepare briefings for department heads.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the office by managing office supplies and coordinating logistics for internal meetings.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and digital filing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team within a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo standard background security checks (DV clearance preferred but not essential for this role).
