Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and data entry with high accuracy.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or staff members.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding city services, policies, and procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain and update office records and databases to ensure information is current and confidential.
- Prepare and process routine correspondence, reports, and documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Collaborate with team members to support various departmental projects and special events.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous office experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
