- Support departmental operations through document processing, records management, and data entry with 99% accuracy
- Assist in coordinating public meetings, hearings, and community outreach initiatives
- Manage correspondence, inquiries, and communications with citizens and government agencies
- Prepare reports, presentations, and statistical analyses using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ensure compliance with municipal regulations, FOIA requests, and record retention policies
- Support grant application processes and budget tracking initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 0-2 years of administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (if required for field visits)
