Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive support to departmental teams, including filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings with government officials.
- Customer Relations: Handle incoming enquiries from the public and internal stakeholders with professionalism, accuracy, and a focus on service excellence.
- Document Management: Prepare, format, and distribute official correspondence, reports, and policies in strict compliance with government standards and data protection regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical records, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline administrative workflows and improve efficiency within the team.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring all departmental operations comply with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C/9-4) including English and Mathematics (or equivalent work experience in a relevant field).
- IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management systems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
