Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming applications, permits, and official documents with high accuracy.
- Greet and assist visitors and citizens, providing courteous and professional customer service.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Update and maintain digital records and filing systems to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and memos for department heads.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating community outreach events and meetings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree or coursework in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
