Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, verification, and analysis of public data for regional reports.
- Prepare and maintain accurate government records and documents using internal databases.
- Communicate with constituents and internal stakeholders via email and phone to address inquiries regarding local services.
- Conduct research on legislative changes and policy updates relevant to Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
- Support the drafting of memos, briefing papers, and correspondence for senior leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive government information and citizen data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government-specific software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
