Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing and filing of official government documents, permits, and records with high attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens and visitors at the front desk and via phone/email.
- Perform accurate data entry into various internal databases and government systems.
- Support senior staff with administrative tasks, including scheduling, photocopying, and drafting correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal government regulations and privacy laws.
- Conduct research to compile reports and assist in the preparation of meeting materials.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or coursework in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong typing speed and accuracy (minimum 40 WPM).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- High level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Background check and drug screen will be required for final candidates.
