Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process incoming applications and documents for government programs.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical records in compliance with city policies.
- Assist the public in person, via phone, and via email with inquiries regarding city services and procedures.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and meeting materials.
- Collaborate with department supervisors to streamline office workflows and procedures.
- Ensure the front office environment is welcoming and professional at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
- U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
