As an Entry-Level Government Clerk, you will be the face of our department, serving the citizens of Florida with integrity and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, directing constituents to the appropriate resources.
- Process and maintain accurate government records, files, and databases using state-approved software.
- Assist in the preparation of official correspondence, memos, and reports for department leadership.
- Perform data entry tasks with high attention to detail to ensure the integrity of public records.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline office workflows and improve service delivery.
- Monitor and restock office supplies and lobby areas to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
