Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues for government agency staff.
- System Administration: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in our ticketing system.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to strict government security protocols and assist in the implementation of data protection measures.
- User Assistance: Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure agency staff are productive and efficient in their daily tasks.
- Training: Participate in continuous learning opportunities to stay updated on the latest government technology standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or customer service (internships included).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently under supervision.
- Background: Must be eligible to pass a government background check and security clearance process.
