The Role:
As a Senior IT Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust IT systems aligned with federal compliance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP). You will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust IT systems aligned with federal compliance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Conduct system analysis, perform code reviews, and optimize database performance for high-volume data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement scalable software solutions.
- Ensure 100% uptime and security integrity of mission-critical applications.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical leadership on complex technical issues.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning to deliver features on time.
- Document technical architecture and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, preferably within the Federal or State government sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Waterfall project management frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on security and scalability.
