About the Role:
As a Senior IT Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and security of federal data systems. You will work closely with federal stakeholders to ensure seamless IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade federal IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and hardware.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for federal personnel and systems.
- Ensure all software installations and updates are performed in compliance with federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and routing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-security environment.
