Responsibilities
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Assist the public via phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding county services and safety protocols.
- Administrative Support: Manage filing systems, process documents, and maintain accurate records for departmental operations.
- Community Outreach: Participate in local events and programs to educate residents about safety resources and available government assistance.
- Data Entry & Analysis: Input and verify data into government databases to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Assist with Special Projects: Support senior staff with research, report preparation, and inter-departmental coordination.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all work processes adhere to federal, state, and local government regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; internships or volunteer work are considered.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer literacy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
