Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage incoming communications, including phone calls and emails, with a focus on professionalism and courtesy.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems to ensure efficient information retrieval.
- Public Assistance: Assist visitors and citizens with inquiries regarding county services and provide clear, concise directions.
- Data Entry: Process high volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail using MS Office and departmental software.
- Office Coordination: Support team projects by preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and coordinating schedules for senior staff.
- Compliance: Adhere to all county policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality agreements.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Experience: No prior government experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
