Responsibilities
- Assist in processing permits, applications, and public records requests in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and responding to high-volume phone inquiries.
- Support department staff with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and preparing correspondence.
- Conduct basic field inspections or observations to gather data for departmental reports.
- Maintain and update digital databases to ensure information is current and accessible.
- Collaborate with community members and stakeholders to resolve inquiries and provide guidance.
- Attend mandatory training sessions to learn local government regulations and office procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
