Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of federal IT hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support to federal employees, troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues.
- Document system configurations and maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities.
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness training and help enforce compliance with federal IT security protocols.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze system performance and implement improvements.
- Manage and organize digital records and data in accordance with government standards.
- Assist in the deployment of new software updates and security patches to authorized devices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and hardware components.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems and work independently.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing federal regulations.
