Responsibilities
- Provide tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across federal agency workstations.
- Manage and prioritize incoming IT service tickets using the agency's ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) to ensure rapid resolution.
- Assist in the end-user device lifecycle, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Document technical procedures, create user guides, and maintain accurate inventory records for IT assets.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement security protocols, patch management, and compliance standards.
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing to undergo a background investigation (Public Trust clearance required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic scripting languages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.
