Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling on large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to support executive decision-making.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all data collection and analysis processes adhere to federal regulations, security protocols (e.g., NIST), and internal quality standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Database Management: Maintain and optimize databases, performing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures for data analysis processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex data issues.
