Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, and 21st Century Cures Act)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to identify data trends and anomalies
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise visualizations and briefings
- Maintain data integrity across federal health information systems
- Support ongoing modernization of federal data infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal healthcare datasets and reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (or equivalent data visualization tool)
- Deep understanding of federal data privacy and security protocols
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing in government environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
