Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and processing of pension benefit applications and member inquiries.
- Conduct data entry and verification of member records to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to retirees and public employees via phone and email.
- Prepare routine reports and correspondence related to pension calculations and status updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex benefit inquiries and discrepancies.
- Stay updated on changes in state and federal pension laws and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred for entry-level roles).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
