Responsibilities
- Assist with Pension Administration: Provide accurate information and guidance to current and prospective retirees regarding pension eligibility and plan details.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain precise digital and physical records of employee pension applications, contributions, and withdrawal requests.
- Customer Service Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Process Documentation: Review and verify documentation for pension claims and ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Assist with Annual Reporting: Support the finance department in compiling data for annual pension fund reports and audits.
- Update Employee Files: Ensure all beneficiary information and personal details are up-to-date in the secure government database.
- Collaborate with HR Teams: Work closely with Human Resources to address benefits-related questions and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required; however, basic computer skills are essential.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.
