Responsibilities
- Assist members with pension inquiries, benefit calculations, and account status verification.
- Process and maintain accurate pension plan records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
- Conduct entry-level research to resolve discrepancies in member data.
- Collaborate with the actuarial and finance teams to ensure plan accuracy.
- Participate in retirement planning workshops and community outreach events.
- Utilize database systems to update member profiles and track application statuses.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with the public.
- Basic understanding of government regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information with discretion.
