Responsibilities
- Assist with Retirement Processing: Support the intake, review, and processing of new pension applications and benefit eligibility requests for public sector employees.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain and update complex pension databases, ensuring all calculations and employee records are precise and compliant with state regulations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for public employees, answering inquiries regarding vesting, contributions, and retirement age requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in state and federal pension laws to ensure all departmental procedures remain up-to-date and legally sound.
- Document Management: Organize and file physical and electronic records related to retirement accounts and benefit settlements.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
